Winchester Model 1892 In 32 W.C.F. First Year Production In Near New Condition
Description:
This Winchester was produced in 1892 In first year of production. The rifle's serial number is 2808. The rifle has the 24 inch octagonal barrel chambered for the 32 W.C.F. cartridge. The bore is in bright minty condition. The sights are original to this Winchester. The original factory bluing would rate a 97% overall condition. The barrel and magazine blue would rate a 98% condition or better. The hammer, lever and butt plate are color cased. The color casing is very strong on the hammer with vivid color. The lever has strong areas of the color cased finish. The butt plate is mostly silvery. The stock has the original finish intact. There is a very small area of wood loss on the left side where the stock meets the receiver just below the hammer. The stock and forend have nice looking wood grain. This rifle shows very little sign of being used or fired. Most rifles that are used show blue loss under the frame belly from carry use, This rifle has all of the bluing intact in that area. This is a stunning first year Model 1892! It would be hard to top this rifle for condition! Being a 32 W.C.F. certainly adds to this rifles appeal.
