WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 DLX RIFLE IN 32 WCF

Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 32 WCF caliber with a fair dark pitted bore that needs a good cleaning. Sights include a blade front and a fixed notch rear with a desirable 62B tang sight. Full length magazine tube. Barrel shows thinning fading blue while the mag tube, hanger and forend cap are a plum/brown. The case colored receiver is a silvery brown/gray with faint traces of case colors in the protected areas. Special order Set trigger that works. Brass elevator is marked "32 Cal" and is period stamped with a former owners name "R. Thurman". Deluxe checkered walnut pistol grip stocks with heavily worn checkering numerous small dings and handling mars with a crescent steel buttplate. Included Research form states the rifle was originally shipped with a 30 inch octagon barrel which has been changed out at some time in its life. This Winchester was made in 1887.
