My beefy looking Winchester 1886 Carbine that I've owned for 14 years. This all original carbine in 38-56 caliber could be a great shooter if so desired. I have never fired it, and I would recommend having it professionally checked out before doing so.

Wood - tight to metal in all areas; no cracks; original finish has nice even color; normal wear and tear; overall Very Good
Barrel - brownish silver patina; correct lettering and caliber marking; special sight as noted in Letter; bore is shiny with strong lands; normal amount of corrosion
Receiver - brownish silver patina; loading gate and top cover showing 85% blue; screw slots not buggered; lever and action are tight with no lever droop; correct markins on tang
Butt plate - correct carbine plate; brown patina
