WINCHESTER 1873 3RD MODEL SRC IN CALIBER 44 WCF

Description:
Standard carbine configuration 20 inch round barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with full length magazine tube. Sights include a flip up ladder rear sight. Bore is dark with roughness throughout. Overall metal shows substantial cleaning with scattered light pitting. Original saddle ring with leather thong. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock with carbine trapdoor buttplate. Walnut stock shows wear with several dings, mars and gouges typical of the saddle ring carbines. This one was made in 1890. Comes with a heavy leather scabbard. Nice looking outfit.
