VERY DESIRABLE WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 RIFLE IN CALIBER 50 EXPRESS
Description:
This gun features a 26 inch octagon barrel chambered in 50-95 WCF caliber with a full length mag tube. There were only 894 26 inch octagon barrels in 50 Express caliber. Wood shows some use but is generally very good with a rifle style buttplate. Action is crisp and tight. Correct sights include a German silver blade front and a sporting rear. Very good bore with some light corrosion starting to show. The most interesting feature about this 1876 is that it proves Winchester never threw anything away. It was refinished and retains about 95% blue and a good amount of case color. An exceptionally sharp gun.
