24 inch round barrel and full length magazine have about 80% finish showing light wear and handling marks with a few light freckles scattered here and there. Very good plus bore that is bright and fairly shiny showing a few small areas of light pitting with strong rifling throughout. Original Sporting front and rear sights. Receiver retains about 70% original blue overall with thinning around the edges and scattered light handling marks. The Hammer retains a good deal of darkening case colors with the lever showing just thinning remnants. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting showing wear and other light handling marks. Features a crescent rifle butt plate. A second year Model 1892 rifle in the desirable 44 WCF manufactured in 1893.
