Winchester Mod 70, Ultra Grade, Featherweight, 1 of 1000, 100% Condition

Description:
This beautiful Winchester Mod 70 Ultra Grade Featherweight was made in New Haven Conn. in 1984. It is embellished in a manor suitable for a limited edition “1 of 1000” rifle.
It has been engraved and is signed by the engraver "Bottega C. Giovanelli" on the top left rear of the receiver. The rifle features a nicely floral scroll engraved receiver with gold inlaid border accents, gold "WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-" on the left wall and serial number "UG952" in gold on the right side of the receiver ring. The barrel was manufactured without sights, with double gold inlaid bands around the muzzle and gold "1 of 1,000" on the right rear. The top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
The floor plate, trigger guard and grip cap are engraved with the same floral scroll design, with a big horn ram in the center of the floor plate with gold bordering. It has a jeweled bolt and follower, with floral scroll engraving on the bolt handle.
Mounted with a nicely figured American black walnut pistol grip stock with fancy bordered checkered forearm and wrist, with Schnabel forend, grip cap, solid rubber Winchester recoil pad and sling swivel studs. Complete with the original factory box & Sleeve with an end label that reads "MODEL 70 ULTRA GRADE featherweight/BOLT ACTION RIFLE 270 WINCHESTER 22" BARREL" over the Winchester and U.S. Repeating Arms Co. addresses. The original Heavy Cardboard shipping box with a matching label has been saved as well. The original sling swivels and paperwork is in the box as is the tissue used to pack the rifle from the factory.
The rifle was purchased as an investment and has never been fired. It’s been stored in the box since new and only taken out a few times for “Show and Tell”. The condition is easy to describe. It is NEW. There are no flaws on any metal surface, I may have installed the matching numbered bolt for the first time for photographs. Any discoloration is from me handling it, it’s very difficult not to get fingerprints on it. The walnut stock is un-marred. The checkering remains sharp and there are no handling marks of any kind. A Winchester Letter stating the date manfactured of June 1, 1984 is included.
The Styrofoam inner box is perfect, the sleeve has some minor fraying from inserting the box. The outer box is solid with no dents and minor wear on the opening end
          The rifle will be shipped in both Winchester boxes and protected by an outer heavy box.

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.  Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address.
A signed valid FFL license copy will be required for shipment to the license address.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation that the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold as collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons.
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee. For Visa and MasterCard orders please provide the account number, code number, expiration date, name on card, phone number and card billing address.
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 40 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in-state purchases. The payment of other states’ sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
