Winchester Pre 64 Model 70 1948 375 H&H With Period Correct Lyman Alaskan Nicest One On The Market *

Description:
This 1948 375 H&H Special Order Beauty  * (Ordered w/o provison for a rear site...see Roger Rule book)has been lighlty used and well cared for. There are no meaningful scratches or even compression marks of note on the handsome straight grained American Walnut Stock, ALL Metal including the floor plate is 95% or better right down to the front site hood that remains in place. The foctory pad is compressed and easialy replaced however i would like to thiink that removing it and soaking in Armorall MIGHT bring it back to life. This as a 1948 375 retained the earlier clover leaf tang with the next gen safety. There are NO non factory holes or modifications of any type. It comes with the period correct (collectable) lyman Alaskan (these fine early scopes were made about 40 mins from our locations....they are still there and the rifle was made about 45 mins from our location now sadly gone as so many classic and fine firearms came from there.
