Winchester Model 62 22 Pump Rifle With It's Original Colorful Graphics Shipping Box And Rare "X" Suffix
Description: SOLD This Winchester was produced in 1948. The rifle's serial number is 240077X. This gun has the"X" suffix after the serial number. The "X" denotes that the serial number stamping machine die got stuck and stamped the same serial number on the next gun in line. To separate the two matching serial numbers the workman hand stamps a "X" at the end of one the serial numbers to separate the serial numbers. This rarely happens with Winchester guns! This makes this Model 62 a very collectable firearm! This Winchester has the standard 23 inch barrel with a minty bore. This gun shows very little use or being fired. It is in near new condition. The original bluing would rate a 98% to 99% overall condition. There is no abuse from sloppy assembly or use. This Winchester is in very fine original condition! The original box is serial numbered to this 62 Model Winchester. The graphics are strong and bright and colorful. The box itself is in fair condition. There is corner separation and handling use.
