Winchester Model 53 Rifle 25-20 W.C.F. **MFG. 1925**

Description:
Winchester Model 53 rifle chambered in 25-20 W.C.F. Manufactured in 1924 (1st year of production), this rifle features a 22" round barrel, 1/2 magazine tube, 6+1 capacity, solid frame, blue finish, and straight grip stock. The rifle is in very nice original condition with approximately 70% of the original blue finish overall, with most of the finish loss on the receiver and forend cap, which has turned an even patina. The metal is smooth and shows only honest wear (no abuse or pitting). This rifle is in excellent mechanical condition and the bore is near mint. The stock and forend both retain most of their original factory varnish with some very minor handling marks in a couple places. This is a nice example of an all original Winchester Model 53 rifle.
