22 inch round barrel chambered in 32 WCF caliber with an excellent bright shiny bore. Half length mag tube holding 6 cartridges and a solid frame. Sights include a blade front and a flattop sporting rear. Most all thinning barrel blue remains. Receiver has a good amount of blue in protected areas along with a little cold blue touch up. Smooth action. Straight-grip Walnut stock with shotgun butt are in good overall condition with only very minor handling mars. Winchester introduced the Model 53 lever-action rifle as a more modern version of the 1892 Winchester. This rifle was made in 1926. The Model 53 was discontinued in 1932.
