VERY RARE WINCHESTER 1895 FLATSIDE MUSKET
Description:
28 inch barrel chambered in 30 US caliber as were all of the Flatside Muskets. This is an early gun in the 900 serial range. Excellent bore. Sights include a pinned blade front, folding ladder rear, and a Lyman receiver mounted sight. Barrel bands with sling swivels. Wood is still in very good condition. Barrel retains most all of its original blue. Receiver has about 90% original blue starting to flake just a little on the lever. Nice traces of case color on the hammer. This is an extremely scarce gun and in very nice condition that was made in 1897. This is a rare opportunity to fill a hole in your Winchester Model 1895 or your musket collection. A rare gun indeed!
