WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 RIFLE WITH PENCIL BARREL IN 30 WCF
Description: Special order 24 inch extra rapid taper round barrel chambered in 30 WCF Caliber with a bright shiny near excellent bore. Sights include a Lyman blade front and No. 21 receiver sight with a Marble blank in the rear dovetail. Half length magazine. Barrel retains most all thinning original blue with a couple of thinning spots. Receiver retains about 15% original blue with the balance thinning to a plum gray patina. Good traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Walnut shotgun butt with hard rubber buttplate. Retains most original varnish with only minor handling mars. This special order configuration rifle was made in 1902. All features verified by Factory Letter of Authenticity.
