Description: c1905 WINCHESTER Model 1894 .32 SPECIAL RIFLE w/ Half-Octagonal Barrel C&R Classic American Rifle with Special Order Features Here we present a C&R Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle with a Half-Octagon Barrel and Shotgun Butt Stock, made in 1905 in New Haven, Connecticut. This is a scarcer variant due to its special order features: the 26” part-octagon barrel, half-length magazine, and shotgun buttplate, which all combine for less weight out front and good handling characteristics. It is chambered in the venerable .32 Winchester Special cartridge, which, like the .30-30 WCF, is a necked down .38-55 WCF. The overall condition is very good. A little bit of original finish remains on the barrel with a gray patina throughout. The action is excellent. The bore is shiny bright with sharp rifling. The walnut stock shows use and remains solid. This one balances very well due to its weight distributions! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 26 inches. Caliber: .32 W.S.
