Description:
16 inch octagon nickel steel barrel chambered in 30 WCF caliber. Sharp corners. Full length magazine. Correct shorter forearm. Barrel and mag tube retain most all original blue. Original sights include a blade front sight and sporting rear. A bright shiny bore. Receiver is a gray with some blue in protected areas. Traces of case color on hammer and lever. Crisp action. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some original varnish. Crescent rifle style buttplate. These are just getting harder to find and most got used pretty hard. Far more carbines than short rifles out there. A good looking example from 1913.
