For sale a 1982 Winchester SRC (Saddle Ring Carbine) Rifleman’s Rifle in the 44-40 caliber.
It was manufactured in 1919, so it is 103 years old. This Rifle is in excellent working condition.
This rifle is just like the one used on the TV show “The Rifleman”.
staring Chuck Connors as “The Rifleman”. The show aired from 1958 to 1963.
This is an heirloom to be passed down from generation to generation.
It has all original parts as far as I can tell and has original wood that has been cleaned up.
I have been transforming these Rifles since 2016. With the sudden passing in December of 2015 of Mike DiMuzio, who was the maker of the Rifles at that time. Mike was the apprentice of Moe Hunt, Chuck Connors gunsmith. I had Mike make several Rifles for me and worked with him on several demos he did.
He taught me to do the same. After his passing I thought that was the end, then I had several calls to transform Rifles for several folks and several asking how they could get one of them. So I started working on them. My passion is working on these old Rifles, so transforming them was a natural fit for me. I usually only do Rifles for someone that asked for one. Then on occasion I get one that I just do on my own. This is one of those.
I keep in touch with whoever gets one and if they ever have a problem I am there to help. With my extensive parts collection I can usually get any issue solved for them.
It also comes withThree ring binder, Rifleman Logo on it and much more.
