FANTASTIC CASED WINCHESTER MODEL 1890 RIFLE IN 22 WRF

24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 WRF caliber with a good shiny bore that does have some very minor spots of roughness. Not perfect but good. The gun itself is fantastic with about 98% bright vivid case colors on the frame and hammer. Most all barrel and mag blue remaining. Original sights. Gun has British proofs. It was apparently sent to England. The straight grain walnut stock has nearly all the original varnish with just some light handling mars. Buttplate has bright case colors as well. The label inside the leather case "Henry Atkin, ltd Gun Makers, 88 Jermyn Street, St James's, London, S.W.1." The initials "DAC" are on the top of the lid. Minor wear to the red velvet lining. Mechanics are excellent. Just a beautiful set. This Model 1890 Second Model Takedown with Case Colored Receiver was made in 1893.
