Antique Model 1890 Winchester slide action rifle

Description: This is an early Winchester Model 1890 serial # 34,699 made in 1895. It is in caliber 22 short. It is all original finish with faded color case hardened receiver,trigger, trigger guard and hammer. It has a 24" barrel and has the early second model blade front sight and block middle sight. It has crescent butt and octagon barrel.The wood is in very good condition. The magazine tube retains 80% of original blue. The barrel; retains 65% thinning blue. The screws are all original and are not turned. ( See photos) This gun was owned my my late Father and was used as a "Gallery" gun for the local Fire Department which he was a member. Therefore it has a lot of small imperfections on the sides of the barrel from being laid on the gallery counter which I have tried to show in the photos. This is not to be confused as a Winchester "GalleryGun" as it is not. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking.
