VERY SCARCE WINCHESTER 1873 RIFLE WITH SPECIAL ORDER 32 INCH BARREL IN 32 WCF
Description:
Special order 32 inch octagon barrel chambered in 32 WCF caliber with a dark bore that needs a good cleaning. Original sights include a German silver blade front and sporting rear. Barrel is a brown/gray patina as well as the forend cap. Receiver is a plum/brown color as is the hammer and lever. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some light handling mars. Looks like some added varnish. Rifle style buttplate. Over the years I have had a number of these. Generally they are pretty beat up. The longer barrel lends to more tipping over etc. This one looks pretty good. There weren't many of these made and this one was made in 1890
