Special order 26 inch half octagon barrel with full length magazine. Bright shiny excellent bore with deep rifling. Upgraded sights include a King’s patent triple bead front (missing spring) with a blank in the rear barrel seat and a Lyman 2A combination tang sight. Barrel and magazine retain near 95% original blue showing some scattered light freckling and handling marks with mag-tube showing a small shallow dent ahead of the forearm cap. Receiver retains about 80% thinning blue with scattered light handling marks and shows signs of very light cleaning leaving a few tiny pits. Hammer, lever and crescent buttplate retain a good deal of smokey brown case colors. Straight grip walnut stocks are full fitting and retain about 90% original varnish with scattered light handling marks and a couple small abrasions along the right side forearm. Crisp action. A nicely configured Winchester from 1908.
