Winchester Model 1894, .32 Special, Lever-Action Carbine
Description: This Winchester Model 1894 .32 Special, lever-action carbine has a 20-inch round barrel, walnut stock and forearm, full magazine tube, drift adjustable ramped front sight, windage and elevation adjustable rear sight, and a straight butt plate. The overall length of the rifle is 38 inches. Its unloaded weight is 6½ pounds. Its length of pull of this rifle is 13¼ inches. Its year of manufacture is 1954. There are no box, papers, or accessories. The overall condition of this gun is 99 percent. It looks like it spent almost all of its 70 years in a closet. The finish on the metal and wood are very excellent. The barrel and magazine tube are like new - 100 percent, with no scratches, mars, blemishes, or other signs of wear. The receiver is 98 percent with a little wear on the bottom edges of the receiver where the bluing is a little thin. In the right light you can make out a few very small and light scratches, but nothing through the bluing. The front sight has similar small and light scratches on the serrated ramp. There is also a little wear on the edges of the loading gate. The included photo of the left side of the receiver shows what looks like an abrasion, but it is not. I believe it is a factory imperfection; it is not visible to the naked eye, and it is smooth to the touch. A similar imperfection appears in the same photo where the receiver meets the stock. It to is not visible to the nake eye and is smooth to the touch. The wood stock and forearm are also in very excellent condition – 99 percent. Both have a few small scuffs and a couple of very small compressions; none penetrate the finish. The butt plate is in near perfect condition. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $40 for USPS Priority mail and $18.10 for insurance (actual cost). Virginia buyers must pay 5.3% sales tax. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash. I will ship the revolver immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL. I will also accept a personal check or other type money, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal. Check or money order must be made out to Jerry Pownall, NOT Barboursville Arms. If you wish to contact me, please "Email Seller". I will answer your questions, explain the purchase / transfer process, and provide my mailing address. I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays. I will return emails Saturday evening. SOLD |
