Winchester 1873 15" Trapper Carbine
Description:
Presented here for your consideration is a really scarce Winchester 1873 15" saddle ring carbine with a 1/2 magazine, or Trapper. This excellent piece was manufactured in 1882 per a Cody factory letter, which is included. This gun has no dings, scrapes, bruises or mar on any of its wood or metal surfaces as the pictures will show. The standard barrel length of the'73 was 24", with other lengths, shorter or longer, commanding premium prices. And, most late model short Winchester 73s were sent to South America, and are usually found "beat up". So, this particular Winchester is a true gem as Trappers are rarely found in this condition.
