Winchester Model 94AE – MONTANA CENTENIAL, 24k GOLD, HAND ENGRAVED, vintage firearms inc
Description: General Specs: Winchester, Year 1995, .45colt, 5lbs 8oz Serial Number: 5463503 Here we present a unique Winchester Model 94AE CUSTOM MONTANA CENTENIAL COMMEMORATIVE rifle celebrating Montana’s 100th birthday with the Centennial Cattle Drive that occurred in September of 1989. This is a custom rifle, hand engraved by Mark Armstrong of A & A Engraving of Rapid City South Dakota and signed by him. THERE WERE ONLY 100 of these fine little rifles produced in 1989 (they planned on 5000 but never produced the entire run, according to A & A Engraving), each of them carefully finished in 24K Gold on all metal surfaces. This is an original Winchester Model 94AE in .45 Long Colt caliber, 16” barrel, and a saddle ring feature that was HAND ENGRAVED to solute Montana, with large banknote-style scroll, stippled background, and The Great Cattle Drive on the right and left side. The yellow gold is accented with white gold in a stunning and brilliant display. The hammer and bolt are jeweled, and the gun appears to be unfired. This rifle, sn5463503, is no. 82 of the 100 made and is in top condition with only a few tiny handling marks in the finish. The figured walnut has a fine mirror finish with no flaws and English style stock. I checked with A & A engraving and the cost to engrave and plate this firearm exceeded $3000, and that did not include the cost of the rifle or the beautiful stock. I haven’t been able to find another offered for sale, but you Montanans should love this flashy little Winchester for display or to have some fun plinking with .45 Colt ammunition. There is no box or paperwork. This gun shouldn’t last long, so don’t hesitate to call and purchase. Thanks for looking!
