This is pretty typical of most of these rifles, Wood has been modified, but gun comes with new stock, which needs a tiny bit of inletting, to get together, no special talent to do that. Buttplate is real nice condition, barrel & receiver all in one is nice also, no blue remains of course, made around 1901 or so, and cost about 8 dollars then, made for feeding the family at the time, and most were overused, and not cared for ! Barrel has very legible letters as you can see, and a Pro could restore this to a very nice piece, for your collection ! Gun works fine, I shot cb caps, and worked well, but shorts are good also ! GUN IS SOLD
