Winchester Model 64 Carbine 219 Zipper *Ultra Rare*
Description: Here we have a truly rare and sought after Winchester Model 64 Carbine in the rarely seen 219 Zipper. The Model 64 219 Zipper was built normally with a 26" barrel but the Carbine was made with a 22" barrel. This beautiful example was made between 1943-1948. The 22" barrel is equipped with the original hood front sight and rear half moon sight. It has the standard pistol grip non checkered stock and metal butt plate. Fortunately the rifle was never drilled and tapped to retain it's originality. The lettering on the barrel are crisp and true. The stock is in fabulous condition with only minor handling marks and the forearm as well has similar minor handling marks. The rifles blued metal retains much of its original finish with wear coming in some of the normal exposed areas. The rifles bore and rifling is shiny and shows minimal signs of use.
