SERIAL NUMBER: 166994
BARREL: 20-inch round
.44-40 WCF cartridge.
MANUFACTURED: 1898
Blade front and carbine style ladder express rear barrel sights.
Plain walnut forearm and buttstock.
Blue steel carbine style buttplate.
Saddle ring mounted to left side of frame.
Finished blue with case hardened loading lever and hammer.

CONDITION:

Excellent with 90-95% original blue on barrel,
Frame showing approximately 50+% original blue,
blending with blue/brown patina. Traces of case color on lever.
Bore is fine with modest abrasion.
Action is tight and crisp.
Wood is excellent showing little wear with small area of missing wood at left side wrist.
