Offered, is an 1866 Rifle, 4th model in .44 Flat Rim Fire. The gun is in superb condition, possibly one of the highest condition 66s that you will ever see. Wood is perfect with no dents, scratches or handling marks, beautiful original charcoal finish barrel with a tiny loss around muzzle. Bore is mint. I have my doubts that it has ever been fired. Receiver is 100% original finish, the color case is faded, either from time or sunlight but still visible. It is mounted with a factory Verneer tang sight.
