Excellent mechanically, excellent bore, without any pitting. Guaranteed original metal and wood finishes. This Winchester1885 has so many special order features combined, this rifle may be 1 of 1 ever made by Winchester. The special order features are as follows. A take down rifle, awesome double set triggers, that funtion as they should., a shotgun butt, an Ebony tipped forearm and a # 3 heavy weight target barel. Made just after the "letter cut off "I also posted pics of the markings from under the forarm. The number refers to a Winchester work order. No extra holes in the tang/under the rear sight.
