"New Underlever" Sliding Block Action Single Rifle in .500 3" Nitro Express with a 28" Nickel Steel barrel that is serial numbered to the action, Proved at Cordite 80 & 570 Gr Max. It has their island base with 1 standing & 2 folding sights, sling eye on the barrel, a side sliding trigger-lock safety (the safety is there but the lock is missing – so not functional). LOP 14 7/8" over a 7/8" Silvers pad, Weight 8 lbs. 9 oz.
Nice Sound Original Wood with very good color and contrast. Wood that has been oiled but does not appear refinished - the checkering has not been re-cut and remains in 90% condition, Horn grip cap, Horn forend tip, All metal has been reblacked and now is 97%.
Bore Condition is Excellent Plus! Looks like a new barrel inside.
