Rare original Westley Richards bolt rifle in .318 Westley Richards Cal. Made with 22" round barrel that has hooded ramp front sight and 4 flip up rear sights. Gun with fine ebony forend cap and is checkered in bordered point pattern at forend and wrist. The blued receiver is nicely scroll engraved as seen in the photos. Gun has raised carved panel around receiver with carved tear drops behind receiver. Steel capped pistol grip is also engraved. Blued checkered steel buttplate. Stock is of really nicely figured straight grained walnut.
The gun remains in excellent field used condition and appears to be all original and untouched. Barrel and receiver with 80% + plum original blue. Stocks are very good with handling marks and retains its original hand rubbed finish. Buttplate is very good with some honest hunting wear. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Overall, this is a really beautiful honest rifle.
