Description:
The Thompson 1927A-1 is a semi-automatic, detachable magazine fed 45 ACP with a 16.5" finned barrel. The left side of the receiver is marked, "MODEL OF 1927 A1 / NO. KT7912 / THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE / CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE". The frame and receiver are milled from solid steel with a blued metal finish. The front sight is a tall post on a Cutts comp, the rear sight is a two position flip up adjustable ladder sight. This Thompson has a three-piece walnut stock set with a finger grooved foregrip, finger grooved pistol grip, and a dropped comb stock with a steel buttplate. The Auto Ordnance Thompson 1927A-1 "Chicago Typewriter" is a semi-automatic version of the iconic Thompson submachine gun, often associated with 1920s and 1930s gangsters, Prohibition-era mobsters, and law enforcement. This particular model has the classic look and feel of the original. Comes with a Thompson plastic case and three stick magazines, (1) 20 round, (2) 30 round, and a (1) 100 round drum. Overall this gun is in excellent condition and appears unused. .45 ACP
