Steyr Prohunter .376
Description:
12/18- fully Sold pending 3 day inspection period which expires End of day 01/18/2022 - contact me anyway, in case sale falls through.
I have for sale a Steyr Prohunter .376. As with several Steyr models, it has a flat matte hammer forged 20" barrel, synthetic stock- factory iron sights and a 3-position tang safety- which I really like and it has adjustable/removable length of pull shims to customize your fit. This one is topped with a Leupold vari- X III 2.5 to 8 x 36 Matte with a 4A reticle- using Warne rings/bases. The only wear is the bolt handle which you may be able to see in pics. I rate it overall 97-98%. This rifle shoots and handles great! I had opportunities 15 years ago to go on Alaska moose and black bear hunts and I wanted something different than the standard 300 WinMag or 7mm mags. I knew I was going to be hunting in Brown Bear country and wanted something that would stop a brown bear and this checked all the boxes. I carried it on five hunts over 12 yrs and it's been sitting ever since. Hornady loads bullets for it but im a reloader so worked up a load using 300 grain Nosler partition that shot fantastic. This is what I used out in the field on al those hunts. So here's what I have for sale, option #1– the rifle (I have the original box), Scope, rings and bases, scope covers (everything pictured), and Steyr sling swivels for $1275. Plus shipping - Option #2- rifle, bases, swivels $875 plus shipping . I have reloading components including dies, ~100 pieces of brass and have ~50 reloads using the nosler partitions mentioned above as well. We can discuss if interested however I will not sell them until the rifle sells as I want to offer the rifle buyer first right of refusal. Only for sale to those within ContUS and only ship thru/to a licensed FFL. USPS postal money order or personal check which will have to clear before shipping. I'm not a good photographer so if there is something you want to see better, let me know.
