Description: Guns Listing ID: 810097 Up For Sale is an Austro Hungarian Steyr Model 95 chambered in 8x56R and marked on the barrel “S” accordingly, this rifle has force matched serial numbers, the front barrel band has an old repair that has not held together allowing the front barrel band and a shard of wood to slide out. Comes with a sling. THIS ITEM IS AS PICTURED WITH NO FURTHER ATTACHMENTS The Mannlicher M1895 is a straight pull bolt-action rifle, designed by Ferdinand Ritter von Mannlicher that used a refined version of his revolutionary straight-pull action bolt, much like the Mannlicher M1890 carbine. It was nicknamed the Ruck-Zuck-[Gewehr] by Austrian troops (ruck-zuck spoken as \"roock-tsoock\", in common language meaning \"back and forth [rifle]\") and \"Ta-Pum\" by Italian troops who wrote a song about it during World War I. The primary producers were the OEWG in Steyr, and FÉG in Budapest.
