Stevens Deluxe 44 single shot engraved .22LR

Description:

Here is a very nice Stevens target rifle from over 100 years ago in excellent condition. Bore is bright and shiny with good rifling. Looks like the action was originally case-hardened with a fair amount of color remaining. The wood is a high grade walnut showing good figure. There is one small ding in the stock on the left side.
The action is deeply engraved. One side depicts a Native American similar to the face that used to be on nickels; the other side depicts a mountain goat. All the engraving seems very nicely done; I'm not experienced enought to know if it's factory or not but I'd bet on factory.
Heavy barrel. The sights I'm sure are not original.
I'm not really sure what to ask for this rifle but I'll put a number out there and we can argue about it.:)  I will pay shipping and insurance. Please, no texts.
