"U.S. Springfield Model 1884 trapdoor .45-70 (AL10136)

Description:
"Serial No. 406860, made in 1888, .45-70, 32-1/2" round proofed barrel. Bore is excellent with handsome rifling noted. 92-95% original blue that is starting to thin remains on the barrel. Breech has “U.S./MODEL/1884" with gorgeous case coloring visible. Lock plate and hammer have light surface marks noted. Stock is in excellent condition with a sharp “1888" cartouche present. Action functions correctly. Hard gun to improve upon.
