US Springfield M 1898 Krag Rifle, Early, Complete and Correct

Description:
    A US Springfield, early, correct M 1898  Krag rifle, from a nationally known collection, Contributing Author and Collector. Serial number 1097xx. Mechnically excellent. All features function as they should. Metal finishes are original and show honest ware from being 127 years old. The bore is clean and bright without any pitting or frosting. The last 2 inches shows light pitting/frosting in the groves only. Overall I rate the  bore 8/10. The sights are original and correct 1896 sights and handguard. A 3 piece cleaning rod set and oiler are included in the butt trap compartment. Also included is a rare original brass muzzle cap/sight protector. The stock is original,  in very good condition, without any cracks damage. The stock has a correct 1898 inspectors cartouche and circle "P" firing proof. A seldom seen original,  complete and correct 127 year old early 1898 Krag in collector grade condition.

This early Krag is an antique witch will ship to your door in most states.
