Description:
Custom Sako 85XL 300 Norma Magnum target rifle. Contessa steel 20MOA picatinny rail. Spiral fluted bolt. Steel Sako hinged floorplate bottom metal assembly. 28" skip line fluted 10 twist stainless barrel with MPA muzzle brake.
The beautiful custom fiddleback Maple stock was hand crafted by master stock maker Doan Trevor. The stock features a thumb wheel adjustable shadowline cheekpiece which is removable and held in place via magnets. The vertical pistol grip has been hand stippled and is encapsulated in a sharply defined border. Adjustable buttplate assembly with in/out and up/down adjustments. The length of pull is 12" in the collapsed position and extends to 14-1/8". The bottom of the stock features a slightly tapered bag riding keel and walnut grip cap. The forend features a 4" picatinny rail section for attaching the bipod. Doan did an exceptional job with the aluminum pillar bedding. The stock is numbered 228.
Rifle weight is 12.5 pounds. This rifle has been shot 120 times and is in virtually new condition.
This is the perfect rifle for long range target shooting or slaying steel at long distances out to 2000 yards or further. Performance of the 300 Norma is 215gr bullets at 3050-3100fps and 230gr bullets at 2950-3000fps.
