Description: Winchester Licensee, U. S. Repeating Arms Co. Mod. 1885, .22 LR, Mfg. by Miroku Description: Rifle is 24" 1/2 round, 1/2 octagon barrel. Has a Browning tang sight, adjustable for elevation and windage for rear sight and front sight shown in pictures. The rear sight was factory drilled and tapped for a tang sight. Single shot 22 caliber rifle in great shape. No factory box or paper work this the rifle as shown in pictures. Markings: The left shoulder of the octagonal portion of the barrel is marked “U.S. REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CT, U.S.A. / MODEL 1885 / WINCHESTER / LICENSEE” with a Winchester proof, also reflected on the top of the receiver, the top of the barrel is marked “CAL. .22 L.R.”, the right shoulder is marked “MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU”.
