For sale, a used Taylor's and Company Sharps Carbine in .54 caliber.  This modern reproduction by the well known firm of Taylor's and Company is perfect for the Civil War weapons buff and re-enactor alike.  This example has been used but is in good overall shape with a good bore and is 100% functional.  This Sharps was one of the best designs of the Civil war and was a prized possesion by cavalryman and infantry alike for its fast rate of fire, and superb accuarcy for such a small carbine.  This carbine has some nicks and scratches and shows some use, but overall looks great and could be shot and used in re-enactments without feeling guilty.  Priced to sell way substantially under what a new one would cost.  This is a cap and ball black powder gun, and thus can be shipped directly to the buyer.
