Description: SHILOH SHARPS, BIG TIMBER, MONTANA MADE 1874 "MONTANA ROUGHRIDER" .45-70, 30" OCTAGON SPORTING RIFLE. This one has the pistol grip with lightly curved steel millitary butt plate, double set triggers, full buckhorn rear sight and weighs approx. 10 1/4 lbs. It also has a mid-range vernier tang sight with elevation adjustments and a globe front sight that will take inserts. The semi fancy walnut stock is a rich reddish/brown with some nice light fiddleback to it. All in about unused condition inside and out. The current catalog price on one fitted out like this would be about $3650 with at least a 2 1/2 year wait and probable price increases. My price $2950.
