Sharps Rifle Company 1874 3-Band
Description: Sharps Rifle Company, Hartford, Conn. Model 1874, caliber 44/77BN. Serial Number: C, 53824 Original records show this one shipped as a 3-band Military rifle and later used as a target rifle (No factory letter in hand). The front globe sight and the tang sight base are original. The tang sight staff is an Axtell Rifle reproduction Pictures best describe the condition. I have many more available by email. The receiver is without pitting and shows some faded case colors , wood has some obvious marks but unsanded and no cracks. The bore is bright with pronounced rifling (very shootable if you so desire). All parts are present. Great shape for a 140 plus year old firearm.
