Savage 99DL 300 Savage

Description:
Lowered $250 to $1200- This is a hard to find model and caliber combination in the Savage line. It is a 1963 99DL in 300 Savage. The 1963 DL has the shorter 22" featherweight barrel rather than the 24" length of the earlier DL's.

The bluing has minor wear but is very nice overall. The photos should show it pretty well. The wood has no cracks or holes and has an extra coat of waterproofing varnish. Good if you plan to hunt with this one. It has the original folding rear sight with the white line, the original front sight, the original pistol grip cap and the original buttplate.

This model is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting and has the raised comb to make eye alignment with the scope natural. It's a nice rifle to be sure. Nothing to be ashamed of here.
