Description:
Rarely encountered and very rare highly collectable Savage 99 PE (presentation grade) Factory Engraved. These unique  and stunning rilfes were made by Savage from approx 1965 to 1970. There were 2 grades, the PE being the highest. The receivers were engraved for Savage in Europe. To the best of my knowledge they were engraved identicaly with Elk on one side and a mountain lion on the other.. We've only seen or had one or perhaps two of these in the entire time we've been doing business. They were based on an M model then engraved and fitted with the highets grade of the most stunning American Walnut money could buy. This rifle does not appear to have ever been fired or used
