Description: ***SOLD***Savage Model 99C lever action rifle chambered in .243 Winchester, manufactured between 1995-97. This rifle is the iconic Model 99, revered by sportsmen across the country as a robust, reliable and high quality sporting rifle. This rifle is in the more recent manufactured model, with some modern upgrades. The traditional rotary magazine has been swapped out for a more practical removable 4rd box magazine, as well as adjustable iron sights, and a factory drilled and tapped receiver for the modern sportsman who might prefer an optic rather than iron sights. The rifle is furnitured with beautiful walnut, as well as cut checkering, and a very nice Monte Carlo stock. The rifle is in overall great condition, with some small areas of old finish speckling, small bumps and dings from storage and handling, all of which is shown in the photos.
