Desirable and a little hard to find chambered in .308 the 99F or 99 Featherweight is the quintesential woods deer rifle. A later (1950's) evolution of these exceptional guns that were way ahead of their time incorporting features like the clever brass rotary magazine, cocking indicator and cartridge counter. Of the great many variations of 99's this combination...Featherweight in this chambering is the most sought after. It does NOT have the often found split behind the upper tang, the finsih is all orginal, no non factory holes  (aside from sling swivel) the factory hand checkering is sharp showing no wear to speak of, Blue is 85 to 90 % with NO rust or pitting (light loss of blue underside of re We can have a pad added for you for an addtional 150.00 however our stock man has had some health issues and we cannot control the timing of when he might be able to do this.
It comes with period correct Lyman Tru Lock base and rings. We have many excellent classic used scopes that would go nicely with this fine rifle.
As a  1957 gun it still has the lever safety. Factory sights are still present
