This is a real time capsule of a Savage. Where do I start?
It's an 1899A short rifle in 32-40 with a 22" barrel and rocky mountain front sight as well as a tang sight. The rear barrel sight has the original fish hook elevator. All finishes are original. It has the takedown option. It has the thick rubber buttplate option. It has a perchbelly buttstock. There's no crazing of the stock finish. Geez, just look at it and ask any questions, it's amazing.
Condition, about as good as you can imagine for a 1910 rifle. This will be the prize of any collection and did I mention it's a 32-40? Holy Smokes man, don't think twice on this one. Let me know what you want to do and we'll see if we can make it happen. It's pricey yes, but if you know what you're looking at you know you've never seen one like this before, and likely won't see another like it.
