Cal 303 Savage. 26" oct bbl with nice blue and a VG bore. Quite a bit of lustrous blue on the receiver also. On the left side is about 60% and the right a bit less. It has aged and the carry point has greyed out somewhat. A low serial number in the 7k range. Wood matches the rest of the gun being very nice. No visible cracks. Savages were noted for having cracks but this one doesn't. 95 Savages were scarce and a very good collectible. Comes with an interesting letter from the Savage Historian dated 1988.
