We have a love for the Savage 99’s and this old girl is not a disappointment. The rife seems to be made in 1974 ”estimated via serial #” cycles and functions as it should. It comes with a vintage scope and rings making it a cool shooter from 51 years ago. The rifle was in a collection and lived in the safe for years but was also hunted too. The wood and metal is in great shape for its 51 years would make the great hunter and shooter. These guns are some of the finest hunting rifles ever made and there’s good reason due to the accuracy and durability of the design. Add a nice stock pad with ammo storage and you have more than enough ammo to do any job. The rife is chambered in 308Win making a great platform for just about any big game and easy to fine plus affordable.
