Savage Model 24J DL .22 Win Magnum/ .410 Gauge "COMPLETE SET OF ALL 4 CALIBER'S & GAUGES

Description:
This is a private collection of Savage Arms Corporation of Westfield, Mass. U.S.A. manufactured(1965-1968) Model 24J-DL's in original as new condition, with an NRA rating of Excellent 99%. These are the last DeLuxe production years(No S.N.) with satin chrome receiver's engraved with small game scenes and have very tight action, they're gold plate trigger's show little/no use.(Ref. Pic.) All have the standing breech, break-action system with low rebounding hammer's and in 1964 Savage integrated a barrel selector spur into the hammer design thus making these rifles ambidextrous, for right or left handed ease of use. The 24" barrels are solid brazed the entire length making them sought after for they're strength, factory grooved for scope with elevated iron sights. These firearms have no pitting & no rust, the bores are bright with strong rifling's a true collectors grade set, inside & out! The select walnut monte carlo stock's/ forearms are beautifully preserved and have the white line butt plate's and pistol grip cap's, the highly desirable .22 Win Magnum (R. F. Only) pair have Fleur De Lis checkering and the .22 Win Magnum/.20 gauge has  the straight stock with pistol grip. The Model 24 chambered in .22 Long Rifle/ .410 Bore was in production for over 70 years (Stevens/Savage) and used during WWII as a survival rifle by our U.S. Army Air Core, making it versatile and considered not just for small game. This set of Savage o/u are in an exceptionally well cared for, like new working condition that is rarely seen, the .22 Win. Mag. R. F.
