The Sako 85 Kodiak is an accurate, reliable, and durable bolt-action rifle designed with bear or moose hunters in mind. This Kodiak is chambered in the heavy-duty .375 H&H magnum cartridge, a round known for its effectiveness on dropping large game and dangerous game in one shot. The rifle itself uses Sako’s well-renowned 85 type action, and utilizes a detachable stainless steel magazine with a capacity of 4 rounds plus one in the chamber. The short 21.25 inch barrel is cold-hammer forged and made out of top quality stainless steel alloy. The fully adjustable open sights use the V-notch design, a type common among guide and dangerous game rifles.
